In My Own Words, I’m honored to serve as the youngest County Commissioner in Meigs County’s history. While representing the 5th District, my mission is to advocate for all residents—not just partisan agendas—and to ensure our community’s voice is heard at every level of county government. My roots in Ten Mile run deep; my family has called this place home for nearly 5 generations, and I am proud to carry on our tradition of service and community involvement. I’m committed to making sure Ten Mile is not only represented in Meigs County’s decisions but is also a driving force behind meaningful progress.
Alongside my role as County Commissioner, I own and operate a marketing agency based here in Ten Mile. My agency specializes in helping small businesses, nonprofits, and civic organizations grow through effective marketing solutions. This work allows me to support local businesses and causes, empowering them to make a positive impact on our community. Through my marketing career, I’ve gained valuable experience in strategic planning, communication, and problem-solving—all skills I bring to my work on the County Commission.
On the personal side, I’m happily married to my high school and college sweetheart, Katie, whom I married in 2022. For now, it’s just Katie, our Labrador retriever Ellie Mae, and me, but we plan to grow our family in the near future. Family means everything to us, and we are excited about the possibility of raising the next generation here in Ten Mile, continuing our family’s legacy in the place we call home. On the weekends, you might even find me waiting tables at Driftwood Diner in downtown Ten Mile—I love connecting with neighbors and friends there and staying involved in our local community.
In addition to my roles as a Commissioner and business owner, I also hold my life insurance license and am currently pursuing investment banking licenses to expand my knowledge in financial services. My goal is to provide even more support to individuals and families in our community as they work toward financial stability and success. I’m a firm believer in the power of knowledge, whether it’s in business, finance, or government, to create positive change and opportunities for growth.
As Vice-Chairman of the County Commission, I work with the Chair and my fellow commissioners to address the most pressing issues facing our district and county. I also serve on several committees to ensure that the needs and values of the 5th District are well represented. My first term will conclude in August 2026, and I plan to seek re-election so that I can continue building on the progress we’ve made together.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I invite all residents to stay involved through public meetings, monthly email updates, and open communication on important issues. Together, we can ensure that Ten Mile’s voice remains strong and that our community’s values are always at the forefront of Meigs County’s future.
